The background to ORGSEC
ORGSEC was established as a concept within organisational security in 2010 by Ole André Bråten and Anette Falkum.
After 22 July 2011 we were engaged for several years in the Norwegian Government Quarter, with advisory work and competence development. Since then we have worked behind the scenes to build security competence in a range of sectors and industries.
Today we continue to give organisations the competence to understand and handle risk – with the establishment of ORGSEC+. It adds an assessment of organisational risk factors – with proposed measures that can be implemented quickly.
This is an important development for us – in a society where risk develops fast.

ORGSEC has always been about the same thing: that organisations should understand the risk they face, and have the competence to handle it when it matters.
